IDC UMJ Conducts Socialization of the 1000 Da'i Scholarship Program
Dean of the Faculty of Islamic Religion ( FAI ), Dr. Sopa, M.Ag said in his speech that the collaboration program between Baitul Mal Umat Islam Bank Negara Indonesia ( BNI ) was very helpful, especially for students who had limited abilities.
“The 1000 Dai Scholarship Program is very beneficial for students who have limited economic abilities. "I remember when I was in undergraduate school, I received a scholarship from the Super Semar program," said Sopa.
Yuni, a student from the Islamic Communication and Broadcasting Study Program (KPI) who received a scholarship, said the same thing, that this scholarship program is very helpful for students, especially for overseas students like her.
"I am grateful to Bamuis BNI and the Head of KPI Study Program for this scholarship, maybe I would have dropped out of college if I didn't get this scholarship because of my parents' economic limitations," said Yuni
The 1000 Da'i Scholarship Program has currently been running for 4 classes at UMJ, this program not only focuses on helping with costs, but also equips the recipient students to become Da'i who are able to preach in their own way.
The activity was attended by the Director of Bamuis BNI Drs. Sudirman, MBA., Dean of FAI Dr. Sopa ., M.Ag., Deputy Dean I Busahdiar, MA, Head of Study Program within the FAI UMJ environment, and all students who received the 1000 da'i bamuis BNI scholarship.
